Elisha Gerald (Jerry) Hopkins (kelahiran tahun 1935) adalah seorang jurnalis dan pengarang Amerika yang dikenal karena menulis biografi pertama dari Elvis Presley dan Jim Morrison dari grup musik Doors, serta menjabat selama 20 tahun sebagai koresponden[1][2] dan penyunting majalah Rolling Stone. Ia juga menulis beberapa biografi lainnya, menulis sejarah dan humor, dan menjadi penulis-produser untuk Mike Wallace, Steve Allen dan Mort Sahl.
