Jerry Zaks (kelahiran 7 September 1946) adalah seorang aktor dan sutradara televisi dan panggung Amerika kelahiran Jerman. Ia memenangkan Tony Award untuk Penyutradaraa Permainan Panggung Terbaik dan Drama Desk Award karena menyutradarai The House of Blue Leaves, Lend Me A Tenor, dan Six Degrees of Separation dan Tony Award untuk Penyutradaraan Musikal Terbaik dan Drama Desk Award untuk Guys and Dolls.
Kehidupan dan karier
Zaks lahir di Stuttgart, Jerman, putra dari korban selamat Holocaust, Lily (Gliksman) dan Sy Zaks, seorang tukang daging.[1] Keluarganya beremigrasi ke Amerika Serikat pada 1948, pada akhirnya bermukim di Paterson, New Jersey. Ia lulus dari Dartmouth College dan meraih gelar Master of Fine Arts dari Smith College.[2]
