Jessye Norman

Jessye Mae Norman (15 September 1945 – 30 September 2019) adalah seorang penyanyi sopran asal Amerika Serikat kelahiran negara bagian Georgia dan menjalani sebagian besar masa karier awalnya di Eropa sebelum memulai debutnya di Metropolitan Opera di New York pada 1983.
Sebagai salah satu penyanyi opera paling populer pada 1980-an dan 1990-an, ia bernyanyi di pelantikan presiden Ronald Reagan dan Bill Clinton, serta perayaan ulang tahun ke-60 Ratu Elizabeth II dari Britania Raya.[1]
