Jimbal
Jimbal adalah sebuah situs yang terletak tidak jauh dari Tikal. Walaupun situs ini awalnya diduga merupakan daerah yang tunduk kepada Tikal, semenjak tahun 859 para penguasanya mulai menggunakan glif lambang Tikal. Hal ini telah dianggap sebagai pertanda bahwa kejayaan Tikal pada masa itu sudah sirna dan kekuatan mereka juga sudah melemah, sehingga situs-situs yang lebih kecil di sekitarnya (termasuk juga Ixlu) mulai menggunakan lambang Tikal.
Prasasti terakhir di Jimbal didirikan pada tahun 889.
