Jinotega adalah sebuah kota dan ibu kota departemen Jinotega di utara-tengah Nikaragua.
Terletak di lembah memanjang yang dikelilingi oleh punggung bukit Dariense di Isabelia yang beriklim sedang, kota ini terletak 142 kilometer di utara ibu kota, Managua. Kota Jinotega berpenduduk 41.134 jiwa, sementara departemennya berpenduduk 332.335 jiwa menurut sensus tahun 2005.[3] Jinotega memproduksi 80% kopi Nikaragua, yang diekspor ke Amerika Serikat, Rusia, Kanada, dan Eropa.
