Joel Asaph Allen (19 Juli 1838 – 29 Agustus 1921) adalah seorang zoologis, mamalogis, dan ornitologis asal Amerika Serikat. Ia menjadi presiden pertama American Ornithologists' Union, kurator pertama burung dan mamalia di American Museum of Natural History, dan kepala Departemen Ornitologi pertama dari museum tersebut.
