John Dryden (/ˈdraɪdən/; 19 Agustus [K.J.: 9 Agustus] 1631 – 12 Mei [K.J.: 1 Mei] 1700) adalah seorang penyair, kritikus sastra, penerjemah, dan pengarang drama asal Inggris yang menjadi Poet Laureate pertama asal Inggris pada 1668.[1]
Ia dipandang mendominasi kehidupan sastra Restorasi Inggris pada sebuah titik dari periode tersebut yang dikenal dalam lingkar sastra sebagai Zaman Dryden. Walter Scott menyebutnya "Glorious John" (John yang Berjaya).[2]
