John Louis Esposito (19 Mei 1940 – 15 Juli 2026) adalah seorang akademisi sekaligus profesor asal Amerika Serikat. Ia mengajar studi Timur Tengah dan agama.[1] Eposito menjabat sebagai Profesor Agama, Urusan Internasional, dan Kajian Islam di Universitas Georgetown di Washington, DC. Ia juga direktur pendiri Pusat Pangeran Alwaleed untuk Pemahaman Muslim–Kristen di Georgetown.
