John Leech (29 Agustus 1817 – 29 Oktober 1864) adalah seorang karikaturis dan ilustrator asal Inggris.[1] Ia terkenal karena karyanya untuk Punch, sebuah majalah humor untuk khalayak kelas menengah yang luas, menggabungkan sindiran politik verbal dan grafis dengan komedi sosial ringan. Leech membuat prasangka kontemporer, seperti anti-Amerikanisme dan antisemitisme dan mendukung reformasi sosial yang dapat diterima. Kartun Leech yang kritis tetapi lucu tentang Perang Krimea membantu membentuk sikap publik terhadap kepahlawanan, peperangan, dan peran warga Inggris di dunia.[2][3]

Leech juga menikmati kepopuleran sebagai ilustrator pertama novel Charles Dickens' tahun 1843 yang berjudul A Christmas Carol.[4] Dia juga merupakan pionir dalam komik, menciptakan karakter berulang Mr. Briggs dan beberapa lelucon bergambar berurutan.[4]
