John Mahr Rothman (lahir 3 Juni 1949) adalah seorang aktor film, televisi, dan panggung asal Amerika Serikat.
Kehidupan dan karier
Rothman lahir dari keluarga Yahudi Amerika di Baltimore, Maryland, putra dari Elizabeth D. (née Davidson) dan Donald N. Rothman, seorang pengacara.[1][2] Ia adalah kakak dari eksekutif film Thomas Rothman.[3]
Lulusan Universitas Wesleyan dan Sekolah Drama Yale, kredit panggung Broadway-nya meliputi karya Richard Nelson Some Americans Abroad dan revival tahun 2007 dari karya Craig Lucas Prelude to a Kiss. Ia juga tampil dalam berbagai produksi Off-Broadway, termasuk pementasan tunggalnya sendiri The Impossible H. L. Mencken.
Rothman memerankan Union Jenderal John F. Reynolds dalam film Gettysburg (1993). Ia juga tampil dalam sejumlah acara televisi seperti Guiding Light, Blue Bloods, Law & Order, dan Arrested Development.
