Joseph Broussard (1702–1765), juga diketahui sebagai Beausoleil, merupakan pemimpin masyarakat Acadia; yang nantinya berubah nama menjadi Nova Scotia dan New Brunswick. Broussard memimpin Mi'kmaq and Militia Acadia terhadap Inggris melalui Perang Raja George, Perang Bapak Le Loutre dan saat Perang Prancis dan India. Setelah kekalahan Acadia terhadap Inggris, ia kemudian memimpin grup pertama warga Acadia ke Louisiana selatan pada saat sudah ada Amerika Serikat. Namanya terkadang disebutkan sebagai Joseph Gaurhept Broussard; kemungkinan ini terjadi karena kesalahan transkripsi.[1]
