Journal of Morphology adalah sebuah jurnal ilmiah tinjauan sejawat di bidang anatomi dan morfologi yang menyajikan artikel penelitian utama, artikel tinjauan, dan abstrak pertemuan.[1] Jurnal ini didirikan pada tahun 1887 oleh ahli zoologi dan morfologi Edward Phelps Allis dan C. O. Whitman.[2] Jurnal ini terbit secara teratur sejak tahun 1887 meskipun sempat mengalami kerugian finansial. Allis memberikan dukungan yang diperlukan agar jurnal tersebut dapat terus terbit hingga, setelah jeda singkat, jurnal tersebut mengalami reorganisasi pada tahun 1907 ketika diambil alih oleh Wistar Institute di Philadelphia sebagai solusi yang lebih permanen atas masalah keuangannya.[3] Per tahun 2022, jurnal ini disunting oleh J. Matthias Starck.[4]
Berdasarkan Journal Citation Reports, jurnal ini memiliki faktor dampak tahun 2020 sebesar 1.804, menempati peringkat ke-12 dari 21 jurnal dalam kategori "Anatomi & Morfologi".[5]
