Julius Streicher

Julius Streicher (12 Februari 1885 – 16 Oktober 1946) adalah anggota Partai Nazi, Gauleiter (kepala daerah) Franken, dan anggota Reichstag (parlemen nasional). Ia adalah pendiri dan penerbit surat kabar antisemit Der Stürmer, yang menjadi unsur utama dalam mesin propaganda Nazi. Perusahaan penerbitan yang ia dirikan memperoleh keuntungan yang besar, sehingga Streicher menjadi kaya raya.[1]

Selepas Perang Dunia II, Streicher divonis bersalah atas kejahatan terhadap kemanusiaan dalam Pengadilan Nürnberg dan dihukum gantung.[2] Ia adalah anggota rezim Nazi pertama di Pengadilan Nürnberg yang dinyatakan bersalah atas dakwaan hasutan genosida.
