Kalpana-1

Kalpana-1 adalah satelit meteorologi khusus yang pertama diluncurkan oleh Indian Space Research Organisation menggunakan Polar Satellite Launch Vehicle pada 12 September 2012. Satelit adalah tiga poros stabil dan didukung oleh panel surya, mendapatkan hingga 550 watt. METSAT bus digunakan sebagai dasar untuk Chandrayaan misi pengorbit bulan tahun 2008.
