Kalsium-48 adalah isotop kalsium dengan 20 proton dan 28 neutron (sehingga nomor massanya adalah 48). Isotop ini memiliki fraksi mol 0,187% dari kalsium di alam.[1] Rasio neutron yang tinggi ini tidak umum pada atom-atom ringan, tetapi kalsium-48 memiliki hambatan besar terhadap peluruhan beta sehingga jenis peluruhan yang pernah diamati hanyalah proses peluruhan beta ganda yang sangat langka. Isotop ini memiliki waktu paruh yang sangat besar yaitu 6.4×1019 tahun, sehingga hampir mendekati isotop stabil.[2]
