Kapal pelacakan


Missile Range Instrumentation Ships, Kapal Range, Kapal pelacakan, atau Kapal Tracking, adalah kapal yang dilengkapi dengan antena dan elektronik untuk mendukung peluncuran dan pelacakan rudal dan roket. Karena banyak berkisar pada peluncuran rudal di wilayah laut untuk alasan keamanan, Kapal pelacakan memperluas jangkauan fasilitas pelacakan berbasis pantai.

Di Amerika Serikat Kapal Tracking awal dibangun oleh Angkatan Darat AS dan kemudian Angkatan Udara AS untuk mendukung Program rudal mereka.
