Kastil Shane
Kastil Shane adalah sebuah kastil yang hancur di dekat Antrim di County Antrim, Irlandia Utara, yang sebagian besar hancur pada tahun 1816 karena kebakaran. Kastil ini terletak di tepi timur laut Lough Neagh, 2,7 mil dari Randalstown. Dibangun pada tahun 1345 oleh anggota dinasti Clandeboy O'Neill, kastil ini awalnya dikenal dengan nama Edenduffcarrick, yang berarti "alis batu hitam" (dari bahasa Irlandia éadán dúcharraige).[1] Kastil ini mendapatkan namanya yang sekarang dari Shane McBrian McPhelim O'Neill, yang memerintah Lower Clandeboy antara tahun 1595 dan 1617.[2] Kastil ini mendapatkan namanya dari Shane McBrian McPhelim O'Neill, yang memerintah Lower Clandeboy antara tahun 1595 dan 1617.[2]
