Katak gembong (Limnonectes blythii) adalah jenis katak yang ukurannya sangat besar, yakni panjang 20 cm, dan lebar 12 cm. Oleh sebab itu, terkadang katak gembong ambigu dengan katak besar yang berasal dari familia Ranidae. Katak gembong ditemukan di Indonesia, Laos, Malaysia, Myanmar, Singapura, Thailand, Vietnam, dan kemungkinan Kamboja. Habitat alaminya adalah hutan lembap tropis dataran rendah, hutan lembap tropis ataupun subtropis, dan sungai. Ia menjadi langka karena kehilangan habitatnya.
