Katedral Aversa (bahasa Italia: Duomo di Aversa, Cattedrale di San Paolo) adalah sebuah gereja katedral Katolik yang terletak di kota Aversa di provinsi Caserta, Campania, Italia.[1]

Sejarah

Ini telah menjadi tempat kedudukan Keuskupan Aversa dari pendirian keuskupan pada tahun 1053.

Katedral Romawi, yang didedikasikan untuk Santo Paulus, memiliki ambulatorium yang spektakuler dan kubah segi delapan. Francesco Solimena's Madonna of the Gonfalone disimpan di sini; Kemartiran Santo Sebastianus oleh pelukis Quattrocento Angiolillo Arcuccio, sekarang di seminari, dulunya ada di sini. Patung pra-Romawi Saint George dan Naga adalah salah satu dari sedikit patung berdiri bebas yang masih ada pada masanya. Koleksi perak liturgi Baroque yang luar biasa disimpan di perbendaharaan.
