Katherine Dunbabin adalah seorang arkeolog yang dikenal sebagai pakar seni Romawi. Ia menjabat sebagai profesor di Universitas McMaster.[1]
Kiprah
Dunbabin mengenyam pendidikan di Universitas Oxford, dan memperoleh gelar doktor pada tahun 1970. Disertasinya berjudul Studies in the mosaic pavements of Roman North Africa.[2] Buku pertamanya, The mosaics of Roman North Africa: studies in iconography and patronage yang diterbitkan oleh Clarendon Press pada tahun 1978, didasarkan dari penelitian doktoralnya.[3] Ketertarikannya pada seni Romawi berlanjut, dan pada 1999 ia menerbitkan sebuah buku yang berjudul Mosaics of the Greek and Roman World yang diterbitkan oleh Cambridge University Press.[4]
