Kenan Evren (17 Juli 1917 – 9 Mei 2015) adalah seorang mantan jenderal Turki, pimpinan kudeta (coup d'état) pada 12 September 1980, dan Presiden Turki yang ketujuh (1982-1989). Selama kudeta tersebut, 600.000 orang ditangkap dan 50 orang dieksekusi mati.[1]
Pada tahun 2014, saat berumur 96 tahun, ia dijatuhi hukuman penjara seumur hidup atas kudeta yang ia pimpin.[1] Ia meninggal pada 9 Mei 2015 (umur 97) di rumah sakit militer di Ankara.[2]
