Kenari protea[2] (Crithagra leucoptera) adalah sebuah spesies burung pengicau kecil dalam famili Fringillidae.
Kenari protea memiliki panjang 15-16 cm dengan paruh pucat yang besar. Dewasanya memiliki punggung cokelat kekelabuan, dagu hitam, leher putih, dan dua garis sayap tipis yang berwarna bungalan. Perutnya bungalan dengan garis-garis samar. Kedua jenis kelamin tampak mirip, tetapi burung muda lebih menonjol garis di perutnya.
