Kerusuhan Efesus

Kerusuhan pandai perak Efesus atau kerusuhan Efesus, adalah sebuah peristiwa dalam Kisah Para Rasul 19:23–41 yang menuturkan ketegangan sipil di Efesus yang timbul pada pertengahan 50an Masehi menanggapi ajaran Rasul Paulus. Peristiwa tersebut dirancang oleh seorang pandai perak bernama Demetrius, yang bergerak dengan para rekan pengrajin melawan ajaran Paulus yang menyatakan bahwa barang buatan tangan bukanlah ilah, berpendapat bahwa hal tersebut mengancam kehidupan mereka dan, pada dasar yang lebih besar, penghormatan terhadap dewi Artemis dan kuil terkenalnya. Kerumunan berkumpul di teater kota, mengumandangkan "Besarlah Artemis dewi orang Efesus" dan menangkap dua orang pengikut Paulus.
