Khios merupakan sebuah pulau terbesar kelima di Yunani. Pulau ini terletak di Laut Aegea tujuh kilometer dari pantai Turki. Gunung tertinggi di pulau ini ialah Pelineon Oros dengan ketinggian 1.297 m. Pada tahun 2001, pulau ini memiliki jumlah penduduk 51.936 jiwa dan memiliki luas wilayah 842 km². Pulau ini memiliki angka kepadatan penduduk sebesar 62 jiwa/km².
