Khuppah

Khuppah (Ibrani: חוּפָּה, pl. חוּפּוֹת, khuppot, yang artinya "kanopi" atau "penutup"), juga disebut huppah, khipe, khupah, khuppa, adalah sebuah kanopi di mana dua insan menyerukan janji pernikahan dengan tata cara Yahudi. Khuppah terbuat dari kain, terkadang dari tallit, dibentangkan pada 4 tiang, atau terkadang dibentangkan oleh 4 orang yang datang pada seremoni pernikahan. Khuppah adalah simbol rumah bagi 2 insan yang sedang menikah.
