Kondrit karbon
Kondrit karbon atau kondrit C adalah kelas meteorit kondrit yang meliputi paling tidak 8 kelompok dan banyak meteorit yang belum dikelompokan. Kondrit karbon juga meliputi meteorit yang paling primitif. Proporsi karbon C di antara meteorit jatuh rendah, yaitu 4,6%.[1]
Beberapa kondrit karbon yang terkenal adalah: Allende, Murchison, Orgueil, Ivuna, Murray, Tagish Lake, dan Sutter's Mill.
