Kennyo

Kennyo (顕如; 20 Februari 1543 – 27 Desember 1592), juga dikenal sebagai Kōsa (光佐), adalah patriark ke-11 dari garis keturunan Hongan-ji dari Buddhisme Jodo Shinshu, dan Kepala Biara Ishiyama Hongan-ji, benteng katedral Ikkō-ikki (pendeta prajurit Buddha dan petani yang menentang kekuasaan samurai), selama pengepungannya di akhir periode Sengoku. Serupa dengan ayahnya, Shōnyo (patriark ke-10), Kennyo merancang banyak aliansi, dan mengatur pertahanan katedral hingga pada titik di mana kebanyakan orang pada saat itu menganggap Ishiyama Hongan-ji yang tak tertembus.
