Kosmos 106

Kosmos 106 (Rusia: Космос 106 berarti Cosmos 106), juga dikenal sebagai DS-P1-I No.1 adalah satelit yang digunakan sebagai target radar untuk tes rudal anti-balistik. Ini diluncurkan oleh Uni Soviet pada tahun 1966 sebagai bagian dari program Dnepropetrovsk Sputnik.

Ini diluncurkan dengan roket Kosmos-2M 63S1M, dari Situs 86/1 di Kapustin Yar. Peluncuran terjadi pada 12:28 GMT pada tanggal 25. Januari 1966. Itu adalah satu-satunya satelit DS-P1-I yang akan diluncurkan pada berumur pendek Kosmos-2M sebelum peluncuran beralih ke varian Kosmos-2I 63SM.

Kosmos 106 ditempatkan ke dalam orbit Bumi rendah dengan perigee dari 281 kilometer (175 mil), sebuah apogee dari 553 kilometer (344 mil), 48.4 derajat kemiringan, dan periode orbit 92,8 menit. peluruhan decay dari orbit pada 14 November 1966.
