Käthe Kollwitz (pelafalan dalam bahasa Jerman: [kɛːtə kɔlvɪt͡s]; nee Schmidt; 8 Juli 1867 – 22 April 1945)[2] adalah seorang seniman Jerman yang bekerja dengan media lukisan, cetakan (termasuk etsa, litografi, lukiran kayu) dan patung. Siklus seninya yang paling terkenal, termasuk The Weavers dan The Peasant War, menggambarkan efek kemiskinan, kelaparan dan perang pada kelas pekerja.[3][4] Terlepas dari realisme dari karya awalnya, seninya sekarang lebih erat terkait dengan Ekspresionisme.[5] Kollwitz adalah wanita pertama yang tidak hanya terpilih menjadi Prussian di Akademi Seni tetapi juga menerima status profesor kehormatan.[6]
