Lagerpeton adalah sebuah genus avemetatarsalia lagerpetidae, yang terdiri dari sebuah spesies tunggal, L. chanarensis.[1] Mula-mula dideskripsikan dari Formasi Chañares di Argentina oleh A. S. Romer pada 1971, anatomi Lagerpeton diketahui tak sepenuhnya lengkap.[2]
