Laobambos adalah genus bambu dalam keluarga Poaceae. Genus ini hanya memiliki satu spesies, yaitu Laobambos calcareus, yang merupakan tanaman asli Laos.[2] Tanaman ini unik di antara bambu lainnya karena memiliki batang yang sukulen, sebuah adaptasi terhadap kekeringan musiman di habitat karst-nya.[3]
