Lauren Booth (terlahir Sarah Jane Booth, lahir 22 Juli 1967) adalah penulis, YouTuber, jurnalis, dan aktivis pro-Palestina Britania Raya.[3] Ia memegang paspor Inggris dan juga warga kehormatan Palestina.[4] Saat ini, Booth menetap di Uskudar, Turki bersama suaminya.[5]

Kehidupan awal

Booth lahir dan besar di Golders Green, London Barat Laut, yang mayoritas penduduknya Yahudi. Booth merupakan saudara tiri Cherie Blair, istri mantan Perdana Menteri Inggris Tony Blair, dan putri aktor Tony Booth. Ia belajar menjadi aktris di London Academy of Performing Arts dan kemudian menghabiskan beberapa tahun tur Eropa dengan berbagai kelompok teater regional.[6]

Booth tidak dibesarkan dalam sebuah agama spesifik, keluarganya memiliki latar belakang keyakinan yang beragam.[6] Ayahnya dibesarkan sebagai seorang Katolik tetapi tidak mempraktikannya dan ibunya beragama Kristen yang percaya takhayul dan tidak pernah ke gereja.[7] Kedua orang tuanya tidak pernah menikah.
