Lempeng Hebrides Baru

Lempeng Hebrida Baru, terkadang disebut Lempeng Neo-Hebrida, adalah lempeng tektonik minor (sedikit lebih besar dari lempeng mikro) yang terletak di Samudra Pasifik.[1][2] Sementara sebagian besarnya terendam sebagai dasar laut di Cekungan Fiji Utara, Vanuatu, dengan beberapa Gunung berapi busur vulkanis yang berada di tepi barat lempeng. Di sebelah barat daya, lempeng ini dibatasi oleh Lempeng Australia, yang menujam di bawah Palung Hebrida Baru. Zona penunjaman Vanuatu aktif secara seismik dan menghasilkan banyak gempa bumi berkekuatan 7 atau lebih.[3]
