Lemur leher merah[4] (Varecia rubra) adalah salah satu dari dua spesies dalam genus Varecia, lemur leher; yang lainnya adalah lemur berlorek hitam-putih (Varecia variegata). Seperti semua lemur, hewan tersebut berasal dari Madagaskar dan hanya terdapat di hutan hujan Masoala, di timur laut pulau tersebut.[5] Hewan tersebut adalah salah satu primata terbesar di Madagaskar dengan panjang tubuh 53 cm, panjang ekor 60 cm dan berat 3.3–3.6 kg.
