Lepidolit adalah anggota kelompok mineral mika berwarna lila-kelabu atau merah mawar dengan rumus kimia K(Li,Al)3(Al,Si,Rb)4O10(F,OH)2.[2][3] Lepidolit adalah mineral yang mengandung litium paling melimpah[4] dan merupakan sumber sekunder dari logam ini. Mineral ini adalah sumber utama dari unsur logam alkali rubidium.

Lepidolit ditemukan bersama mineral yang mengandung litium lainnya, seperti spodumen, dalam tubuh pegmatit. Lepidolit juga ditemukan dalam barik-barik kuarsa bersuhu tinggi, greisen, dan granit.
