Liber

Liber (/ˈlaɪbər/ "yang Bebas"), juga dikenal sebagai Liber Pater ("Bapak kebebasan"), dalam agama dan mitologi Romawi kuno, merupakan dewa pemeliharaan anggur dan minuman anggur, kesuburan dan kebebasan. Dia adalah dewa pelindung kaum plebeian Roma dan merupakan bagian dari Tritunggal Aventine mereka. Festival Liberalianya (17 Maret) dikaitkan dengan kebebasan berbicara dan hak-hak yang melekat pada masa kedewasaan. Kultus dan fungsinya semakin dikaitkan dengan bentuk-bentuk romanisasi Dionisos/Bakkhos Yunani, yang mitologinya ia bagikan.[1]
