Limnonectes paramacrodon

Limnonectes paramacrodon dapat dijadikan indikator kualitas lingkungan atau Hutan. Jenis katak ini lebih umum dijumpai pada Kawasan hutan yang masih baik sampai gangguan ringan, Hutan primer atau Hutan sekunder tua Dataran rendah. Habitatnya berada tidak jauh dari aliran sungai kecil yang dangkal dengan kondisi air relatif bersih. Jenis ini mudah dan banyak ditemukan di Kawasan hutan Kalimantan. Laporan terbaru berdasarkan hasil survei Muslim (2019) disebutkan bahwa jenis ini dijumpai di sekitar sungai yang perairannya masih dipengaruhi oleh pasang-surut air laut dengan tipe habitat peralihan Mangrove.
