Lompat diri

Dalam istilah kepolisian dan media, lompat diri adalah orang yang melakukan lompat atau menjatuhkan diri dari ketinggian yang mematikan, terkadang dengan tujuan bunuh diri atau lari dari suatu kondisi (misalnya kebakaran bangunan).[1][2] Istilah tersebut meliputi semua orang yang lompat, tanpa memandang motivasi atau konsekuensi.

Lompat diri tertinggi yang terdokumentasi adalah oleh penerjun payung Charles "Nish" Bruce,[3] yang bunuh diri dengan loncat tanpa parasut dari pesawat, di ketinggian lebih dari 5.000 kaki (1.500 m).[4]
