Lucy Webb Hayes

Lucy Ware Webb Hayes (Chillicothe, Ohio, 28 Agustus 1831 - Fremont, Ohio, 25 Juni 1889) ialah istri Rutherford B. Hayes, Presiden AS. Ketika suaminya menjadi presiden, ia bertindak sebagai Ibu Negara Amerika Serikat. Ia adalah salah satu ibu negara paling masyhur pada abad ke-19.

Lucy Hayes belajar di Ohio Wesleyan University. Ia adalah ibu negara pertama yang lulus dari perguruan tinggi.

Lucy dijuluki "Lemonade Lucy." Ia tak menyajikan alkohol di White House.

Ia meninggal pada tanggal 25 Juni 1889. Saat kematiannya, para penduduk AS menurunkan bendera menjadi setengah tiang.
