Ludwig Wilhelm Gilbert (12 Agustus 1769 – 7 Maret 1824)[1] adalah seorang fisikawan dan kimiawan Jerman, dan profesor fisika di Universitas Leipzig. Dari 1799-1824, ia menerbitkan "Annalen der Physik".[2]
