Luka tembak adalah trauma fisik akibat peluru dari senjata api.[8][9] Kerusakan dapat meliputi pendarahan, patah tulang, kerusakan organ, infeksi luka atau kehilangan kemampuan untuk menggerakkan anggota tubuh.[2] Kerusakan tergantung pada anggota tubuh yang terkena, kandungan peluru yang memasuki tubuh dan jenis serta kecepatan peluru.[9] Komplikasi jangka panjang dapat meliputi keracunan timbal dan gangguan stres pasca trauma.[1][2][10]
