Lutung sumatra hitam (Presbytis sumatrana) adalah spesies monyet dalam famili Cercopithecidae. Sebelumnya, lutung ini dianggap sebagai subspesies dari simpai, Presbytis melalophos (sebagai Presbytis melalophos sumatrana), tetapi analisis genetik menunjukkan bahwa keduanya merupakan spesies yang berbeda.[2][3][4] Lutung ini merupakan hewan asli Sumatera, serta dinilai sebagai spesies genting oleh IUCN, terutama karena deforestasi, dan juga karena perburuan untuk hewan peliharaan.[1]
