Mamou adalah sebuah kota dan sub-prefektur di lembah daerah Fouta Djallon di Guinea. Populasi 76.269 (tahun 2008).[1]
Itu tumbuh di sekitar jalur kereta api dari Conakry ke Kankan dan segera menjadi markas administrasi lokal. Industri utamanya dulunya adalah pemrosesan daging hingga dekade 1990-an, sementara itu juga bertindak sebagai pusat transportasi yang penting. Semua kendaraan yang menuju Fouta Jallon, kawasan hutan atau Haute Guinée harus melalui Mamou.
