Manyung jahal ( Plicofollis argyropleuron ), atau manyung pasir,[1] adalah salah satu spesies lele dalam famili Ariidae. Ia dijelaskan oleh Achille Valenciennes pada tahun 1840, asalnya di bawah genus Arius .[2] Ia mendiami perairan payau dan laut di New Guinea, Australia, dan Asia selatan dan tenggara. Ini mencapai panjang total maksimum 50 cm (20 in) .[3]

Makanan manyung jahal meliputi ikan bertulang, krustasea bentik termasuk kepiting dan udang, detritus, moluska, cacing polychaete dan annelida, alga dan lumpur.[4][5][6][7]
