Marcellin Joseph Benedict Champagnat, FMS (20 Mei 1789 – 6 Juni 1840) adalah seorang imam Katolik Prancis yang mendirikan Persaudaraan Maris, sebuah kongregasi keagamaan yang didevokasikan kepada Maria dan didedikasikan untuk pendidikan. Ia dikanonisasi pada 1999 dan hari rayanya adalah 6 Juni, perayaan kematiannya.
Champagnat lahir pada tahun penyerbuan Bastille, permulaan Revolusi Prancis. Ketegangan agama, politik, ekonomi, dan sosial pada masa hidupnya memengaruhi prioritas dan susunan hidupnya. Champagnat ditahbiskan menjadi imam pada 22 Juli 1816 dan menjadi bagian dari kelompok pimpinan Jean-Claude Colin, yang membentuk Serikat Maria, sebuah kongregasi agama terpisah.
