Dr. Hj. Maria Ulfah, MA. (lahir 21 Desember 1955) adalah seorang Qoriah (pembaca Al-Quran) Indonesia dan pimpinan Central Institute untuk Pengembangan Bacaan Al-qur'an.[1] Dia adalah juara dua Musabaqah Tilawatil Quran (MTQ) Indonesia dan diakui internasional sebagai salah satu qoriah terbaik dunia dan guru pengajian.[2][3][4][5] Dia juga adalah seorang dosen di Institut untuk Studi Al-qur'an dan di Universitas Islam Nasional di Indonesia,[6] dan wanita pertama yang memenangkan MTQ internasional di Malaysia pada tahun 1980. Dia dianggap tokoh internasional dan qoriah di Asia Tenggara.[7]

Hj. Maria Ulfah pernah menjabat sebagai Ketua Lembaga Pengembangan Tilawatil Qur’an (LPTQ) Pusat. Kemampuan beliau dalam melantunkan ayat suci al-Qur’an telah diakui di dunia internasional.[8]

Pada tahun 2001, Hj. Maria Ulfah mendirikan Pesantren Baitul Qurro dan Lembaga Pengembangan Tilawatil Qur’an di Jakarta. Selain pernah memimpin LPTQ Pusat, beliau juga merupakan seorang dosen dan menjabat sebagai Dekan Fakultas Ushuludin pada Institut Ilmu Al Qur’an (IIQ) Jakarta.
