Mario Rossi (arsitek)

Mario Rossi (Roma,1898 M – Kairo, 1961 M) adalah seorang arsitek asal Italia. Selama hidupnya, ia bekerja untuk Kementerian Pekerjaan Umum dan Istana atas permintaan Raja Fuad I dan merancang arsitektur sebanyak 260 masjid di Mesir. Sebelum kematiannya, Mario Rossi menjadi Muslim. Semasa hidupnya, Mario Rossi mempelajari kebudayaan Islam untuk menghasilkan karya tulis maupun bangunan dengan corak arsitektur Islam di Mesir.[1]
