Marjorie Augusta Gateson (17 Januari 1891 – 17 April 1977)[1] adalah seorang aktris panggung dan film Amerika. Gateson lahir di Brooklyn, New York, dari pasangan Augusta dan Daniel Gateson. Kakek dan saudara laki-lakinya dari pihak ibu adalah pendeta;[2] Beberapa sumber menyatakan ayahnya juga salah satunya,[2] tetapi Axel Nissen dalam bukunya Mothers, Mammies and Old Maids: Twenty-Five Character Actresses of Golden Age Hollywood menulis bahwa dia adalah seorang kontraktor.
