Richard Mark Bonnar (lahir 19 November 1968) adalah aktor asal Skotlandia. Kehidupan pribadi

Bonnar lahir di Edinburgh dari seorang seniman lingkungan bernama Stan[1] dan istrinya Rosi. Pekerjaan Stan sebagai seniman kota untuk Kota-Kota Baru Skotlandia menyebabkan keluarga tersebut berpindah-pindah, dan Mark menghabiskan masa kecilnya di Stonehouse, South Lanarkshire, bersekolah di SD Townhead di Stonehouse.[2] Bonnar telah mempresentasikan sebuah film dokumenter BBC tentang kota-kota baru berjudul Meet You at the Hippos.[3]

Pada tahun 1981 keluarga tersebut pindah ke Edinburgh dan Mark bersekolah di Leith Academy. Mark bersekolah dengan Jamie Sives, yang kemudian menjadi lawan mainnya di film Guilt dan Dept. Q.[4] Ia menikahi aktris Lucy Gaskell pada 28 Desember 2007. Anak pertama mereka, Martha, lahir pada Juli 2011, dan anak kedua mereka, Samuel, lahir pada Juni 2015.[5]
