Mata lebam

Mata lebam adalah memar di sekitar mata, biasanya diakibatkan cedera pada wajah dan jarang terjadi karena cedera mata. Istilah lebam sendiri berarti biru kehitam-hitaman.[1] Sebagian besar cedera ini termasuk cedera kecil dan akan sembuh tanpa pengobatan selama satu minggu.
Perubahan warna pada sekitar mata tidak menunjukkan tingkat keparahan cedera. Adanya jaringan lemak dan sedikitnya jaringan otot di dekat kantong mata mengakibatkan perubahan esktrim tersebut. Bagi mata sendiri, dimungkinkan pula terjadi trauma.
